Thank you for visiting this page on "Salvation". It is our prayer that you will carefully and honestly read the information below about what the Bible has to say about salvation and how to be saved.
The first truth you must know is that God loves you. This is why he sent his Son Jesus Christ into the world.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Know that Jesus Christ died and paid for your sins. He did this even while you were a sinner and ungodly.
Romans 5:6-8 "6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
You must know that no amount of works, good intentions, sincerity, religion, or church membership can save you. You can not save yourself.
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
Ephesians 2:8-9 "8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast."
Romans 3:27 "Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith."
Titus 3:5 "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;"
The question now is, what must I do to be saved? The answer is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ through the message of the gospel of grace. We are saved BY grace (God's undeserved and unmerited favor) THROUGH faith (trusting in what God has said). The word "believe" (pisteuo) means "to rely upon, to trust in, to believe in."
Acts 16:31"And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."
Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."
Romans 3:24-26 "24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Romans 4:23-25 "23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification."
Today God offers this wonderful, eternal, and free gift of salvation by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Will you take God at His Word and believe that He wants to give you salvation because Christ has already paid for your sins on Calvary's Cross? Will you turn away from your religion, your works, your character, and trust, simply but sincerely, in Christ? Today is the day of salvation.
Ephesians 1:13 "In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,"
II Corinthians 5:21 "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."
